Hey Everyone!! It's Elina here with another project for the Party Time Tuesdays blog!!

Texture with Alcohol Markers

Hello everyone!

Ever wonder how to achieve some texture on images with alcohol markers? Today is your day!

While this technique is not new to many, it can give a clearer idea of how this is used to achieve such a look as I have done with this particular image. Head over to my blog for how this image looks completed and a tutorial on adding texture to hour images.  You can also find me on my Facebook page or on Pinterest.  Be sure to subscribe while you visit and let me know you stopped by!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great rest of the weekend!

Art Journaling and Experimenting with Dapoppins

Halloo everybody, it's Dapoppins (aka Dana S.) I am so glad I can be here again at Party Time Tuesdays to share a little Daily Dose of Inspiration with you.

Here is a little peek at a page of my Art Journal.

I am quite new at art journaling, but a while back I bought a large sketch book that I thought might be perfect for a journal. It had a spiral binding, so I knew it would lie flat without me having to glue pages together or remove any of them- making it much easier to prepare my surface.  On the first pages of my book I tested all my various glimmer sprays and flat sprays that I can now use for reference, but I find that I still want to work things out

So I'm using my journal to work out ideas and test new-to-me products.  As you can guess, the end result may not always be gift-worthy, but art that is imperfect is more personal and human, don't you think?

Come on over to Dapoppins.com and check out the full project (Here) and the in-depth story of why I was up at five a.m. working on it.  And don't forget to check back here daily for new ideas, inspiration, and those great contests!

Make Your Own Mixed Media Designer Paper with Karen Conner

Welcome everyone!!
I want to share one of my homemade designer papers.  Not that I don't love buying all the named brands-I do!  Sometimes I want a specific color or pattern -and no matter how much paper I have -it's just not what I need!  Do you go through that?  Crazy huh?

No worries-you can adapt any color and stamped design into your own mixed media paper.  Hop over to my blog and see what I've created! It's stunning -if I must say so myself!! LOL

Here's a sneak peek:

Oh-it turns into something beautiful!! Come see:  WWW.KRCMASTERPIECE.BLOGSPOT.COM

Have a blessed day!
